Gender inequity continues to be an issue in the higher ranks of accounting firms (just like in law firms and the financial advisory profession), particularly in the specialized field of tax. That’s why the following recent promotions are very exciting:

Jennifer Dawe of Hendry Warren LLP has been promoted from Tax Manager to Partner

Christa Gillis has joined Logan Katz as their Tax Partner

Monica Martinez of GGFL has been promoted to Associate Partner, U.S. and Cross-Border Tax & Advisory Services

Also exciting, Rosa Maria Iuliano, Tax Partner at Baker Tilly, was recently awarded the designation of FCPA and Anjali Dilawri from Logan Katz won Business Woman of the Year for the The Women’s Business Network’s professional services category.
